Precautions for use
Attention ! this product can only be used when the spa is not being used by bathers.
Attention ! if several tablets are needed to treat the spa, these tablets should not all be added at the same time but one after the other.
Attention ! if the tablet escapes you when you open the bag and falls on the ground (or another surface), you must immediately pick it up (mandatory wearing protective gloves) and immediately place it in the skimmer or cartridge filter (avoid the spa itself: risk of discoloration); you can then return to the user manual.
If, in addition, the tablet has come into contact with water (outside the spa) and chlorine dioxide (yellow color) has started to spread, it is necessary, with the exception of yourself, evacuate the room (animals included), open the windows and bring a slightly damp sponge. Using this sponge, it is necessary (obligatorily equipped with protective gloves) to recover the chlorine dioxide, if necessary in several times, and eliminate it by wringing the sponge in the spa or under the tap of a sink (provided that it is very close); in this second case, let the tap water run until the yellow color in the sink has completely disappeared. After elimination of the chlorine dioxide, the surfaces having been in contact with the tablet are also to be rinsed with clear water.
Note: the actions recommended above in the event of a problem must be carried out while keeping the face as far away from the sponge as possible.
Calculate the volume of your spa.
Provide a tablet for 150 liters.
Remove the filter cartridge from the filter and any other “soft” equipment present.
If necessary, clean the water line using an appropriate product.
Make sure spa water has normal chlorine or bromine content and pH.
Power off the spa (at the electrical panel).
Make sure the cartridge filter and/or skimmers do not contain any other product.
After wearing protective gloves, cut the bag using a pair of scissors then invert the contents inside the skimmer (preferably) or the cartridge filter (if there is no skimmer ), without touching the pellet.
If several tablets are needed to treat the spa, repeat the previous operation successively and as many times as necessary (do not open all the sachets in advance).
Tablets dissolve in 15 minutes; the water taking on a yellow-green color.
Once the last tablet has been added to the skimmer or cartridge filter, turn the spa back on (at the electrical panel).
Restart filtration and let it run for 30 minutes.
Stop filtration again.
Let the product act and penetrate the biofilm for 2 hours.
As soon as the yellow-green color has completely disappeared, restart the filtration.
Let the filtration run for at least 30 minutes.
Drain the entire spa and rinse off any grease or grime remaining in the spa.
Fill the spa and replace the filter cartridge (if necessary).
Bring the chlorine or bromine content and the pH to values suitable for swimming.
Attention !
This product is not suitable for inflatable spas (risk of discoloration).
This tablet must never be subjected to any mechanical treatment (crushing, grinding, etc.).
