Stabilized chlorine is chlorine that contains stabilizer, otherwise known as cyanuric acid. The stabilizer allows the chlorine to act and stay longer in the pool and protect the chlorine from UV rays, being particularly sensitive to these rays.

Disadvantages of stabilized chlorine:

2. Beware of over stabilization (max 75mg/l)

Chlorine should be measured at least once a week
The ideal value: 1.5 to 3.5 mg/l
